LAGUNA AGATE
LaGuna Agate, considered the most colorful in the world, comes from an area near Chihuahua, Mexico. The agates were first found at the La Guna ranch, hence the name; and were heavily mined. This deposit was depleted several years ago. However, a new site was found in an indian reservation near by. The agates were equally colorful but are equally being depleted. The agates shown here are among the few remaining from this area.
These agates are all finished - ready for wire wrapping in their free-form design, display, jewelry making, or shaping

Item #LAGA03. Sunset or fire, this beautiful oval cab has a unique design in reds, yellows, pinks, oranges, creams... so many nuances of color it's hard to differentiate. I noticed the scan is a bit washed out...hard to capture the brilliance and detail. Measures approximately 52 mm tall x 38 mm wide x 5 mm deep. Price: $18.00

Item #LAGA05. Hard to see the pattern in this beautiful dark stone, but it sports the dark maroons, oranges and lavender interspersed with cream along the outer edges. There is a crushed green stone inset in this piece to add to the variety. A gorgeously different stone measuring approximately 49 mm tall x 37 mm wide x 9 mm deep. Price: $15.00
Item #LAGA06. Shades of mauve, this attractive free form cab measures approximately 60 mm tall x 43 mm at widest point x 8 mm deep. The upper lefthand corner of this cab is a little rough on the underside, but does not detract from the beauty of the appearance. Price: $15.00
